There is NO advantage to using Kilometers instead of Miles, Meters over Yards, or Centimeters over Inches, just because someone else wants us too or thinks they have a better way. No, in America, we embrace other cultures, and we HAVE adopted the Metric System, where it makes sense. Again, it's like requiring ALL countries to use English, just because we do. Until it is adopted, fully, it is callous to impose a standard on others.
